1Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SlothEdu mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By downloading, installing or using SlothEdu, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2Eligibility and Accounts
- Accounts may be created by you, or by your learning centre, school, parent or guardian.
- If you are under 16 (or the age of digital consent in your country), you may use SlothEdu only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
3Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful or fraudulent purpose.
- Share your account, or access another user's account without permission.
- Cheat on tests, manipulate results, or interfere with other students' learning.
- Upload content that is offensive, abusive, infringing or contains malware.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the app or its servers.
- Harass, bully or threaten teachers, staff or other users.
4Educational Content and Intellectual Property
All lessons, tests, texts, graphics, logos and software in SlothEdu are owned by SlothEdu or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own educational, non-commercial purposes.
You may not copy, redistribute, sell or publish SlothEdu content without our prior written permission.
5Your Content
You keep ownership of the content you submit, such as homework, answers and messages. You give SlothEdu and your learning centre permission to store, process and display that content only as needed to provide the Service. You are responsible for making sure your content does not violate anyone's rights.
6Service Availability and Changes
We work to keep SlothEdu available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change, suspend or discontinue features at any time, for example for maintenance, security or improvements.
7Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or if required by law. You may stop using SlothEdu and delete your account at any time.
8Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose. SlothEdu is a learning aid and does not guarantee specific academic results.
9Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SlothEdu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Any disputes will first be resolved through good-faith negotiation and, if that fails, by the competent courts of the Republic of Uzbekistan, unless mandatory consumer protection laws of your country provide otherwise.
11Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Continued use of SlothEdu after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
